An Idea Around a Campfire

 

 

It all began in the Alps, around a crackling campfire, with founder Pete Rycroft and a few friends who just wanted to sing, laugh, and support each other. What started as casual music-making quickly grew into something bigger — a community built on camaraderie, Cornish spirit, and a shared love for song.

 

 

From Fields of Athanry to Dreckly Boys

 

 

Inspired by the traditional tune Fields of Athanry, the Dreckly Boys were born. What started with one simple song has grown into a group dedicated to celebrating music, culture, and togetherness. Every note we sing carries a little bit of that original spark from the Alps and the pride of Cornwall.
